Memorial service for Attry. James F. Steckbauer, spouse of Carmen C. Ligh

Attorney James F. Steckbauer,of LILBURN & KENNESAW, GEORGIA age 71, passed away on December 27, 2018,

In Mandeville Hospital, Mandeville, Jamaica.

“Jim” was born on December 15, 1947 in Antigo, Wisconsin.

Jim graduated from The University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point; later received his law degree from Atlanta Law School

and practised law in the Atlanta area.  He spoke five languages and taught English and German as a volunteer in his spare time.

Jim  was retired And lived in Lilburn, Georgia with his spouse Carmen Light. Jim’s Friends and family particularly enjoyed his witty repartee.🤣😆..,His favorite pastime was reading & singing to children, taking the dogs for a ride, and listing to his favorite music.

Jim is survived by his spouse Carmen Light of Lilburn, Georgia (Real Estate Entrepreneur, and Community Volunteer for 30 years); step -daughters Khadeen, Kheidra, Katrina & Casandra; step-grandchildren Tittana, Shellita, Kayden, Nehemiah & Rihanna; son Timothy , Cindy

daughter-in-law, grandchildren Jessica and Megan. He is also survived by brothers William, Kenneth, Dennis, Daniel; sisters Mary, Ann, Jane, Susan,nieces and nephews.

 A memorial service for Jim will be held on Saturday, February 9th at 11AM at Mount Carmel Christian Church 6015 Old Stone Mountain Road, Stone Mountain, GA. Pastor Art Stansberry will officiate.
