The Atlanta Jamaican Association (AJA), is accepting applications for its 2016 scholarships. Applicants must have at least one Jamaican parent.
Each application must be accompanied by an essay. This year’s topic is: “How can Information Technology help Jamaica become competitive in a global economy?”
The award recipients will be notified by July 15, 2016. The formal presentation will take place at the Annual Jamaica Independence Ball on Saturday August 13, 2016. Involvement in school and community activities, academic ability and financial need will be factors in the selection of the recipients.
