The incorporation of the Jamaican Chamber of Commerce of Atlanta, Inc. (aka JAMCHAM) was formally announced last evening at the Atlanta Jamaican Association’s Independence Ball.

The chamber is registered as a non-profit corporation in the sate of Georgia and will operate under section 501 (c)(6) of the IRS code as a chamber of commerce.

The mission of the chamber is to provide Caribbean businesses, associations, and professionals the access, voice and empowerment necessary to succeed in a competitive environment.

JAMCHAM is planning an official launch which will be announced shortly.
