Former Ambassador to the US Audrey Marks with the Author at UWI Launch
The official Atlanta launch of the book, Jamaican Entrepreneurship: A review of the Characteristics, Traits and Ideas underlying the success of some of the island’s most accomplished entrepreneurs, will take place just prior to the Atlanta Jamaican Association’s Independence Ball at the Atlanta Airport Marriott Gateway, 2020 Convention Center Concourse, Atlanta, GA on Saturday, August 16th, 2014.
The launch program will begin at 6:00 pm and will include a book signing.
Written by Atlanta Jamaican, Dr. Glen Laman, Jamaican Entrepreneurship was launched at The UWI Mona campus in Jamaica last month to rave reviews. The book examines the achievements of 15 of Jamaica’s entrepreneurs highlighting the historic, social, political and geographic factors which have contributed to the Jamaican economic environment.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to AJA’s “Teen Challenge Jamaica” initiative.
